Rumi Darwaza:


Rumi Darwaza is one of the historical buildings of the capital Lucknow. It is famous for its beautiful texture. 'Rumi darwaja' built on the lines of Bara Imambara of Lucknow was constructed and this door is 60 feet high and it took 2 years to get the door ready. Rumi darwaja is a classic example of Awadh architecture. In the olden times, lamps were placed in the upper part of this door, which even in the dark of night, illuminated this door with lights.


Bada Imambara:


Bada Imambara is a special religious site also known as Asif Imambara as it was built in 1783 by 'Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula' of Lucknow. It is one of the most outstanding buildings of Lucknow. The main feature of the design of this building is that it did not use iron anywhere and did not include any European style architecture. Bada Imambara is also known for its 'Labyrinth (Bhoolabhulaiya)', where there are many confusing routes which are connected to each other and it has a total of 489 doors.


Chhota Imambara:


The grand Hussainabad Imambara, also a short distance west of Rumi Darwaza, is also called Chhota Imambara. This Imambara is the creation of 'Mohammad Alishah' which was constructed in 1837. Chhota Imambara has a white dome and many towers. In addition, it has gilded mirrors, colored plaster, royal hammam, king's throne and ornate crown which beautify the interior.


Hussainabad Clock tower:


Hussainabad Clock tower is located just opposite Chhota Imambara and is just a short distance from Rumi Darwaza. The clock tower was built in 1887. The height of which is 221 feet, its construction was started by Nawab 'Naseer-ud-din' to welcome the Lieutenant Governor 'George Kauper' of 'United Provinces' before Awadh.


Lucknow Zoo:


Lucknow Zoo is located in the center of the city, which is a good place to visit and is a good place for people who like wildlife. This zoo is spread over an area of ​​about 71.6 acres. Attractive animals and birds such as Royal Bengal Tiger, White Tiger, Lion, Gharial, Deer, Bear, Osterich can be seen in their natural habitat in the zoo.
